Walter was born on the 23rd month not known.

April 1934 letter in Balmer papers from Walter Robinson to his cousin, not this Walter. (in speaking of Walter Robinson and Jonas Robinson you say they were sons of Cumberland Robinson. No, they were brothers of Cumberland, and these 3 brothers were sons of Edward Robinson of Jackson Co., TN. This Edward Robinson and wife Ann came from Cumberland Co., VA. besides these 3, there were about 6 or 7 other children. I sent a list of their names and a copy of the will of Edw. Robinson to my cousin in Cookeville, TN. She is getting up a history of the Robinson Family.

She married ROBERT HICKS VERNON:
Balmer Papers list her place of birth as Overton Co. TN. They inherited James S. Chisums homeplace.

Nancy is buried in "Old Vernon Cem., on Clover Creek, Hardeman Co . TN

According to paper sent to me by M. Louise McPherson, Nancy Epps Chisum Vernon married James L. Vernon after the death of her husband in 1831, they married 18 Jun 1835 and moved to Texas.
