6. SILAS⁶ TITUS (ABIEL⁵, ABIEL⁴, ABIEL³, ROBERT², SILAS¹) was born 1734, and died March 23, 1809 in Cato, New York. He married SARAH REYNOLDS Bef. 1772, daughter of NEHEMIAH REYNOLDS and ABIGAIL REYNOLDS.

Notes for SILAS TITUS:
Edmund D. Titus places Silas as a son of 3rd generation, Abiel, as he does with Benjamin below. He also has him born in 1734, perhaps confusing him with an earlier child of the same name who died young. The DAR Patriot Index also has his birth year as 1734. He served in the 9th Albany Regiment and was a Lt. in Col. White's Saratoga Co. of infantry. m. Sarah Reynolds. The family moved to Albany Co., NY ca. 1765 and were recorded as residents of Ballstown, Saratoga Co., NY in 1790. The 1790 census reports 4 males over 16, 5 males under 16 and 4 females. Later settled in Onondaga Co., NY.
