She married BENJAMIN FRANKLIN BOURLAND April 16, 1839 in Lamar Co., Texas. He was born March 14, 1818 in Hopkins County, Kentucky, and died Aft. 1887.

Marilyn Lynch has (see Norton Book) after Benjamin's name. Ben probably died in Hunt Co., TX

James evidently stayed with or near his brother, Cow John. James and Josephine are reported as living on or near Bolivar in Denton Co. , TX where Cow John had a ranch. James died in New Mexico where Cow John became the Cattle King.

Mallary book list as Wm. Claiborne Chism (Tony) married lst Sallie Fuller Wilhite (Walter R. Robinson letter of 1934 said he believed cousin William Chisum who lived on Dry creek in Madison Co., TX was a son of Claiborne. He also believed that Cousin Catherine who m. Thomas E. Mercer was a daughter of Claiborne. No one else has ever connected Catherine to Claiborne.; m. 2nd 1876 Amanda Wilhite.
