Notes for ROBERTUS PRETOR (PRATER) (DE PRAERS?):
Robertus was living in 1208, according to records in Gloucestershire. He was also a Reeve in that county (Shire). A Reeve was an Official of the "Title Holder". The Reeves duties were that of a "Steward", which were somewhat like combining what we know today as a Sheriff, Governor, Bailiff, Justice, Tax Collector, etc.

His name was also spelled Robertus Praepositus., Robertus Preytelius, Robertus Presterus, and Robertus Pretor. (Curia Regis. Rolls of Gloucertershire)
